On Wednesday night, drones illuminated the sky over Portsmouth. The mesmerising drone display recounted the story of D-Day, featuring formations of various shapes. Accompanied by live music performed on stage, the display took place above the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
Guests who secured D-Day 80 tickets had prime viewing positions, but many local residents also gathered at Southsea Common and other vantage points to enjoy the spectacle.
The light show featured drones forming various shapes, including a Spitfire, a soldier, and the words “I remember.” This display marked the conclusion of the National Commemoration Event at Southsea Common in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
