I’m Dani, a local vegetarian food lover originally from Yorkshire, and based in Southsea. I moved here a couple of years ago, and Instagram became my go-to way of finding my feet around the area, discovering cafés, restaurants, and local gems. That’s what inspired me to start my own food page.
I’ve recently started a mini-series covering Southsea’s tapas scene, but I feature everything from cosy cafés to food festivals, new openings and well-loved favourites. My aim is to support the local food scene with honest reviews, engaging content, and a bit of personality! We are blessed to have so many independent places in Southsea and I think that’s something to celebrate.
I usually highlight vegan/veggie spots but also feature popular places with good options, including gluten-free for coeliac friends. I want my food reviews to be useful to everyone.
