Portsmouth has a thriving, and vibrant, art and photography scene, which I have supported and actively engaged with for many years.
When I recently found myself on a career break, I found time to pick up my sketch pads and put pencils to paper, mainly working on portraits.
I have received positive feedback, so much so that I have also been approached to do private commissions.
I generally use high-quality mid-toned paper, approximately A4 in size, using graphite pencils and a highlight pencil. I like to think that the finished results have a warmth and subtlety sadly lacking in A.I. generated digital images. Pricing starts at £225 depending on the complexity of the picture.
