Preparation is well underway on Southsea Common as Victorious Festival 2026 fast approaches. Taking place from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August, thousands of festival-goers will once again descend on Southsea for three days of live music, entertainment, food and festival fun.
If you’re heading to Victorious this year, it’s worth planning your journey in advance. Walking, cycling and public transport are recommended for those staying locally, and there is no general onsite festival parking. If you’re travelling from further afield, check your route and transport arrangements before setting off and allow plenty of time to reach the festival.
A long festival day, lots of walking and potentially more warm weather make hydration important. Festival guidance allows factory-sealed water bottles or empty reusable water bottles, with free water stations available inside the festival. Remember to drink regularly throughout the day, particularly if the sun makes an appearance. Check the latest Southsea weather forecast before leaving and dress accordingly. Comfortable footwear is a must, and light layers are worth considering if it’s warm. Most importantly, enjoy yourself, look after your friends and respect Southsea Common and the surrounding neighbourhood.
