If you love history then you will love Southsea Castle. There are gun platforms, cannons, and panoramic views of the Solent to enjoy. Built in 1544 it was part of a series of fortifications constructed by Henry VIII. During the hotter summer months Southsea Castle is a great place to cool off, its water feature very popular with children and adults.
